How old are you?
The bulk of my income comes from being an income tax preparer. I also do bookkeeping. I'm a freelance artist, mostly working with portraits of people and critters. And this year it's looking like I just might have to file a third Schedule C from doing those bloody online surveys. As far as the IRS is concerned, I have three, possibly four, jobs.
What are you talented at?
Making people laugh. And also making them very angry. Rarely do I evoke both emotions in one person though.
What is a big goal you are working towards?
Saving up to become a CTP and then an EA. Can't say it's my dream job, but at least I won't have to deal with the political stupidity of college to become a professional with clout.
What is your aesthetic?
noun - a set of principles underlying and guiding the work of a particular artist or artistic movement: "the Cubist aesthetic"
adjective - concerned with beauty or the appreciation of beauty: "the pictures give great aesthetic pleasure"
Oh. Realism. Observe:
Do you collect anything?
What's a subject you always talk about?
Lately I've turned into something of a hippie and often complain about the short-sightedness of the modern world and how we need to get back to old ways and traditions, such as homeopathic and herbal remedies and learning to accept oddities as they are instead of panicking about the fact they're "abnormal".
Quite a few things. The most benign right now is businesses being way too chummy and calling me by my first name, rather than respectfully as Mrs. Skyler.
Boil your poke salet twice before eating it, and ignore those kiddie shows that say ants are friendly and its okay to play with them. Fireants aren't as forgiving as cartoon ants.
Recommend three songs:
"Where Rainbows Never Die" by The SteelDrivers.
"First Baptist Bar and Grill" by Tim Wilson.
"Seawinds" by Therion, an Accept cover.
